Saw a strange vehicle for sale. "For Sale, Mercury Comet Pickup Truck". did Mercury actually make a Comet pickup truck? it appeared to be in the early 1960"s. color white with small tailfins in the rear. never saw one before.

i do not remember mercury making a "pickup".ford ,did make a ranchero, on the same platform as the mercury comet. it may've been a custom build or a factory prototype....
