Not necessarily. My aunt survived one, and became very religious -- for a couple of months. Then it was back to her old ways. Then she died for real. Very sad.

I would think it puts some of lifes smaller foibles in perspective.

It has changed mine a few times.

It really changed mine forever. After NDE I became a spiritualist and a very avid teacher of spirituality.I could give meanings and answers to the most difficult questions on spirituality which I never knew existed before NDE.
