Need your help. I am transcribing from audio, and the speaker is talking about thinness. It sounds like he's saying "It's literally 100 angs from stec. You're talking about 50 to 100 atoms." Is that correct - 100 angs from stec?

I would guess that what you are hearing as "100 angs from" is really "100 angstroms". However, I don't know what tec is. An angstrom (Å) is a unit of length that is used to express the size of things that are really, really small, such as atoms. 1Å = 0.1 nanometers or 0.0000000001 meters and is symbolized by a capital "A" with a small circle on top of it. (Hopefully, the character that I used here will translate properly, but I have noted that special characters don't always do so. So, I included the description as well.) I don't suppose that you could work things so that you could get the actual audio in question posted as a video clip on an answer to this question. That way we could hear what it is that you are actually trying to transcribe and perhaps be able to help you out a bit better.
