hard to say, i recon not long. depends on how long u were together, how long ago u broke up and why u broke up. me and my ex were together 2 years, very much in love and were buing a house together. we had an arguement that got dragged out into an unwanted break-up. i think we were both just tired and needed a break but we were still very much in love, like soulmates. the thought of being without me used to make him cry.i assumed this was temporary and we would get back together in no time. 6 weeks after we broke up he was in a new relationship with this stunning blond girl. she was amazing looking. i was gutted. its over now between them....6 weeks later. he is now calling and texting me and i dont want to no him. my advice to u love, is to move on. i feel ur pain and hanging around and hoping only makes it worse xxx

i feel for u buddy.my ex partner and i recently mutually broke up.i thought i knew this girl after knowing her for 3 years and goin out for 2 and a half,and 4 days after we broke up she starts seing another guy.i would have bet my life on sayin she wouldnt have moved on so fast,but she did.grief can cause a person to act out of character. But what you need to focus on is her lack of respect for u as her ex!whats she is doing is completely selfish and all it does is prolong the grieving period for her and hurt you. now listen to me carefully cos without doing wot im about to tell u i would not hav got over my ex soon.................completely cut contact,it seems like its somethin you really dont want to do at the time but believe me when i say that you will almost instantly feel better,delete her as a contact on facebook,bebo or wotever you use,dont check out her profile it will only hurt,delete thoughs half naked fotos on ur mobile and trust me m8 the relief comes soon after.hope this helps
