I have the guys at my former workplace do it. They're good, and I know that they are competent, and that they'll take care of my car. Once they've moved on (as people do), I'll do it myself.

My boyfriend does it.

Changing oil is quite simple in most cases. Yes, a little dirty, but , it is well worth doing yourself, if you can, it will save you 20 or 30 dollars, and it doesnt take long at all. *Remove Plug *Drain Oil *Replace Filter *Insert Plug *Refill oil It can be a 10 or 15 minute process. I hope this is helpful.

I change it myself. The oil plug isn't all that hard to reach in a 96 Camry.

I do it myself in my pick-up. Includes filter, rotate tires, brake jobs, etc. Been doing this for years. Also have a newer car that the dealer has been doing free. Now is the time to start doing myself on this one also.

I do it all myself in about 15 minutes of work. Usually at home or a hobby shop.
