Unity and uniformity are not the same. Clearly, variety delights God. We are the ones that have a problem with it, and I believe that having a problem with it is a sin. We are called to love one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. There is no qualifying statement that says: but only if that brother or sister looks just like you, thinks just like you and acts just like you. Expecting to create unity by creating uniformity was the kind of thinking Hitler used.

The body of God is diverse. One does not claim that the left hand is better than the right, nor that brown hair is superior to black, correct? This plane of existence was created to challenge us, to allow us to experience what "hot" is as there is something to which it can be compared, namely "cold". Neither is better, only different. Through us and with us, God experiences his/her godliness. A relative world is the setting for this. We are ALL part of one. Remember that a tree is no better than a rock nor a blade of grass... No one or thing is better, but all are necessary.

Satan and evil promotes racism, not God. If we all looked the same, life would be so boring. I have four cats and they all look different, coloring, eyes, body shape, fur texture. Life would be so sad if everything was so similar.

Think of how boring this world would be if everyone looked exactly alike. Same skin color same hair and eye color same facial features. It would be kind of boring to not see something diffferent. God in his infinte wisdom gave us all our free agency to do our own thinking and make our own choices. We as imperfect infallable humans created racism not God. He loves all of his children no matter what their race.

I don't pretend to know the mind of God. However, there are many clues. We are here to grow and learn. The secret to success in human unity is love. I don't mean the romantic kind. God is love. God is not hate. The more you embrace all of humanity the closer you become to God. Plus we need to learn to look beyond the material. God is within, not so much without. Most of the saints that have walked this planet are not very pretty. But boy are they beautiful.
