Legally you can't unless you have a reclaiming system. The freon has to be contained. . If the system is already dry then it shouldn't be too hard. My 92 Buick Century came out easily from underneath the car. Careful putting it back in. The line connection block wouldn't tighten on mine and I stripped the threads from the compressor. . If you are recharging the system make sure you replace the seals, can, and the filter in the line by the evaporator. Flush the system or you are wasting your time. . If you don't have experience with A/C I recommend getting help from someone who does.
