  • I liked the comic book way better than the movie. In the comic book we get into V alittle more and it is within the Comic book that V recalls his childhood alittle showing that he does have memory of something (during his recall he talks about how he remembers seeing the statue of Lady Justice as he was riding the ferry of some kind of boat.) Then in the comic book V is actually more empathetic and more willing to spare human lives. He reads stories to Evey (who is a prostitute at night and a factory worker by day.) He doesn't kill prothero but instead drives him made by injecting him the same hormone enhancements that was implanted into him that had driven him mad. V also destroys Protheros dolls which Prothero is obsessed with. It also goes alittle as into why V was at Larkhill but if you haven't read the comic book I suggest you read it because I will not spoil it. As for Adam Sutler it is actually Adam Susan and it goes into great detail as to what Fate is. Evey is also imprisoned for a different reason and V is killed by a completely different person. In the movie they never mention this and in the movie they never go into detail is into Adam Susans thoughts. In the comic book Adam Susan goes into his life philosophicly but in the movie he just screams and yells. As for the end of the Comic book Evey becomes something else, something that she hated when she was freed but then realized that the oppresive state of the Norsefire regime was to be stopped immediately or all freedom would die there. In the end the comic book and the movie is completely different. I liked the comic book alot better and I think that they should remake the movie that reflects the comic book. The comic book is way more violent though and the rating of the movies would shoot up from PG-13 to R.
