anything that can physically harm a child like knives left on the counter or a filthy home allowing a child to play in the road. allowing the child to stay with a person who you do not know. just about anything that could have the potential of a bad outcome. even leaving the child in a bath tub alone between the ages of 5 and younger.

there is no state law against carrying a child in the back of a pick-up that has a camper shell. Lord only knows why the HB537 passed 9-2009 also excluded this. So my question as a peace officer is, is this child endangerment? what could I site a person for if they had 11 children under the age of 17 in the bed of a pick up with a camper shell.The front was also occupied by all seatbelted children occupying all available seats.

Taking it to or leaving it in Texas is itself endangerment.
