Yes I have. It's a great vacation spot on the gulf coast. Especially across the bridge On Padre Island. I actually thought about moving there years ago, but there weren't many jobs at the time.

Oh yes !! I'll never forget it either. I went there with my parents when I was about 12 or 13 years old and we stayed in a dumpy little motel that had old high pile green shag carpeting. In that carpeting was a big rusty fish hook which I stepped on. The hook embedded deep into the bottom of my foot and I had to be taken to an emergency room . They cut the hook out of my foot , then I got some stitches and a tetanus shot. Oh yeah !!! Good times !!! Seriously though... Other than that, I had a lot of fun. Corpus Christi is a nice little town. I would recommend it !! Just be sure to watch out for fish hooks! ;-)

I like Corpus and wish I could visit more often. Mostly the beaches up towards Port Aransas. I like the more blue water and white sand heading to Padre Island. I was always concerned in crossing over on that bridge, and then I heard it happened: a chunk of it fell right in the water with a car.

Yes. It's fine except for the beach. Really sort of blah for a native Californian like me.
