If you are serious I will not personally stand in your way. I have been there 'done that' meaning I have been so low in life where I have made attempts on my life. Technically I did succeed - fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately) the EMTs and later the ER staff were able to restart my heart and get me breathing again. So yes I do understand intimately the desire or the need to die. However I also understand that at times we only need somebody to listen to us, to hear us, to nod and say 'everything will be alright' even if everything will never be alright again. With this in mind I will ask that before you do 'do yourself in' that you give one or more of the following phone numbers a call: 1-800-SUICIDE or 1-800-273-TALK Or, for teenagers (if you are a teen): 1-800-367-7287 These are 'hotlines' they are there to listen and maybe even attempt to give you a reason to not kill yourself... today. Yes its true, sometimes a life is no longer quality enough to continue living it. Quantity of life over quality of life is never better. However suicide is the end product (usually) of depression. Depression is a fatal illness when left untreated. Granted not one death certificate has cause of death as 'depression' however it should be understood that folk who commit suicide (either directly or through self destructive behaviors which result ultimately in ones death) are usually suffering from depression. It may very well be that your quality of life will improve if you get medical help with your depression. Mind depression hits us all, many of us usually rebound on our own, the rest usually do not rebound without help. And your wanting to die is a call for help.
