What happens to a chameleon when it stands on a mirror?

good question i like it! what if we put phil the groundhog on a mirror... would he see his shadow?

I imagine it would stay as it was ,there would be no need for it to change . It would only need to change if it was in different surroundings , It would already be a colour to fade into the surrounding mirrored background. Just my thoughts on the subject, an interesting thought Keith.
