Since you work for the Department of Justice, how would you rate just how "Just" the overall body of work your department is/has done? You say in your profile that you don't like bullies who use control tactics over others and who disrespect those who cannot speak for themselves. I applaud that thought...... However, aren't you working for a department that does just that? How many people do you think are actually given "justice" in the criminal justice system? How many people who "can't speak for themselves," in other words, are too poor to fend for themselves in a court of law, get treated justly? How many district attorney's, just out to make a name for themselves, put innocent people in jail, often times wrecking their lives, despite a lack of evidence, or despite proof positive a case should be dropped? I know I've personally been on that unfortunate end of the "not so" justice system. At least I'm not stuck in jail..... but I am stuck with a record that will consistently impair my ability to get a decent job, and that has taken away certain rights I should have, for the rest of my life. Not jumping on you, or disrespecting you by any means. You seem like a wonderful person. I just wanted to get your personal (off the record) feelings on how "just" the justice system actually is.
