No. There is no "unit" or constant for kinetic friction. Uf=uFn is the formula for friction, where Ff is the co-efficient of friction and Fn is "normal force". U=Us is the co-efficient of static friction. The calculus can be used to measure the "rate of change" for the friction of an object or surface upon another given surface, given the force and velocity.
