I live on Ramen noodles. They're cheaper than bread. Join the club.

Yes, I was in that same position. I did volunteer work at a hippie restaurant and received free meals in exchange. I also asked people at a local corner grocery store to please buy me a can of soup.(yes, I stood on the corner and begged) I would suggest you eat some lettuce, carrots, celery, and fruit, which are at least as cheap as bread and pasta. P.S. My brother gets a lot of his food out of trash cans. He is the modern version of a hobo, completely self sufficient, without a job, yet able to scrounge food, gas, and clothes.

I'm a college student. The only shot I have at variety in my food is when the boss gives me a free meal at work. (I work in a restaurant)

After I became disabled as a result of a military paracuting accident, there was a long period of time before my military disability payments caught up with me. I lived for serveral months on Ramen Noodles and peanut butter. To this day, I get semi-nauseous when I see Ramen Noodles! Heh!
