  • Vodka-alchohol
  • Yes, you cannot freeze the bug spray... i don't know why
  • Alchohol :)
  • Im pretty sure alcohol does freeze, it just freezes at really low temperatures like -100°C or something because its mostly made of ethanol and that freezes reall low. I think most liquids would freeze if they were in an environment that allowed it.
  • alcohol, I think mercury, and I think. not positive freon.
  • Liquid nitrogen
  • There is one element known to modern science that does not freeze: Helium. http://www.lenntech.com/periodic-chart-elements/melting-point.htm shows the melting points of those elements for which a melting point has been established. There are a few transferium elements that haven't been measured as yet (those with an atomic number above 100, with the exception of Lawrencium, which melts at 1627C), but that's only because they can only exist in minute quantities under supercollider conditions, and break down within microseconds. EDIT: I stand corrected as to Helium (and have edited my above answer). Due to a quirk of quantum mechanics, helium's ground state actually lies BELOW absolute zero at one atmosphere. Laboratory tests have produced a quasi-frozen state at high atmospheric pressure, but the crystal lattice is loose and the resulting material exhibits more of the properties of a foam than a solid.
  • No, all liquids can freeze.
  • Helium doesn't freeze. You can turn it into a solid if you put obscene amounts of pressure on it, but it doesn't "freeze" in the traditional sense. As far as why this happens, it has something to do the atomic structure. I'm sure Wikipedia can tell you more.
  • i think honey can't be frozen. i think i remember someone told me that there is no water present in honey. even when you dip a match stick and coat the head with honey, it'll still lit. (correct me if i'm wrong though.) ;)
  • in your freezer........ alcohol!
  • I think everything *can* freeze, but there are many liquids that won't freeze in your freezer at home. When we have vodka at home, we keep it in the freezer - alcohol freezes at -173f/-114c, so it doesn't freeze and stays nice and cold.
  • Mmmm, the bottle of Absolut Citron in my freezer that my band and I, once in a while, make 'Lemon Drops' with. Yummy! :) OH! (editing) And I do not know the exact scientific reason behind why alcohol doesn't freeze. I'm not a chemist! :) (editing again) Okay, I suppose at some level it may freeze though I do not what it is and it wouldn't matter in my case since my freezer would never get that cold! :) (editing the VERY last time) I wonder if Everclear freezes. I would be hard pressed to believe so.
  • i think liquid acid dont freeze
  • liquid sunshine
  • Oil doesn't freeze in the sense that it turns into crystals, like water does. It does become less viscous to the point of no movement at all.
