  • Ask to see their DD214. You cannot check Military records without cause and without being family on a live veteran.
  • Ask them what "prop wash" was used for.
  • ferretguy is right, that's the definitive way. the dd214 or some guys still have their old military id, that'd work too.
  • I believe anyone that has ever served in any service will have photos and other evidence of their service. If he doesn't have any, he is almost certainly lying. As for me. I collected pictures of all my kills in Viet Nam. A collection of 62 pictures as well as pictures of 14 T34 tanks, I called an air strike on. Nothing like the smell of napalm. Still have the pictures, but haven't forced myself to look at them in 30 years. Mainly because I now wish I had trophy kill pictures of those responsible for sending me there.
  • I dont know how to find out if they were in the Air Force. But I am looking for my friend Brandon Wertz. He joined the Air Force I think six years ago. I cant find him anywhere. My mom said if there in the Air Force there wont be any records of them??? Does anyone have any ideas of how to find my friend?? Britta
