What do you think about dead baby jokes?

They don't usually seem all that funny to me. It's not even that I like babies that much. I have no maternal instinct to speak of.

They're mindlessly offensive and only funny about %50 of the time. That being said, mindless offensiveness, tempered with a healthy dose of irony and self-awareness, has its place.

A woman has just given birth to a child. The next morning the doctor comes in, and says to the mother, "I have some good news and some bad news". The mother first asks for the bad news. The doctor replies, "The baby was born a red-head" In shock and awe, the mother then says to the doctor, "What could possibly be the good news from all of this?" The doctor then replies, "The baby is dead." Didn't find it funny?

Maybe I am more morbid than I thought, because I usually find those types of jokes funny. Absurd, but funny.

They're sick, but some of them are funny. That one isn't though. What's the difference between a pile of dead babies and a Lamborghini? I don't have one of them in my garage.

some of them are just so...out there absurd that i have to laugh at least a little bit...but then there are some that i have also found offensive too...

Crude, tasteless. Some subjects just aren't funny, no matter what kind of spin they've got. Just my opinion.
