Certain Playstation 2 models or hardware revisions have trouble or cannot playback certain games. This problem is fairly well known among gaming circles. too many reasons, could you be more specific? Is it just one game? just PS2 games? Will it play CDs and not DVDs? Need more info to make any diagnosis.
