If you right click on the picture, a drop-down list will appear. One of the options is to Save As Picture. Choose that option, and follow the steps from that point.

First right-click on the powerpoint(.ppt) file.then click on 'edit' or click on 'new'.The presentation slides will open.Then select the pic you want to copy(it will get copied to your clipboard).Then follow one of the two steps below:- Step1- If you have PowerPoint XP or 2003: Right-click the image, choose "Save as image" from the pop-up menu. The Save As Picture dialog box appears. Select a location for the picture and give it a name Click the downward-pointing arrowhead next to the Save button and choose "Save original". If you have an earlier version of PowerPoint, then it's MS PhotoEditor to the rescue. PhotoEditor is included in Office 97-2002, so if it's not already installed, re-run Setup and install it. Step2- Simply open MS Paint.Then paste the pic(by going to edit...then goto paste).The pic will get pasted.now simply save the pic(by going to file..then goto save)

I use Paint Shop Pro and screen capture. If If you do not have a screen capture program, you can just press the print screen key on your keyboard and paste it into any graphics program - even paint would do
