the two things my mom told me helped me tremendously with the quality of my life: "Success in marriage does not come merely through finding the right mate, but through being the right mate. " and "worry not on what you need from everyone else, instead worry about what is needed from you." (this was in reference to my two children and how i should worry about what the kids need from me instead of what i need from my in-laws who watch my kids during the day).

My dad was in the Hospice House, preparing to leave this Earth.. a few days before he left.. I witnessed him sit up in bed take hold of my mothers hand, look her in the eyes while they Both Weeped, he said to her " I love you more than anything in this World" But.. "you have to let me go ". " I will always love you".. " My Mother answered him with " I dont want you to go" " How will I know where to find you".. My dad answered. " I will be here waiting to bring you Home with me" " when it is time"..".. I cry as I type this.. it was So Emotional, so Beautiful and Sincere :)
