Yes, connect your iPod to you computer. Once it is detected, itunes will pop up, minimize itunes and go to my computer. On the bar at the top select Tools and then Folder Options. Click the View tab and find the "Hidden files and folders" catagory, select the "show hidden files and folders" option. Click Apply then ok. Still in the my computer section go into your iPod by double (or single depending on your settings) clicking its icon. Once there you should see a folder that is semi-transparent, this contains your music/pictures/videos. copy this folder to your desired location. However, iPods have a very strange file structure and because of this the songs wont be sorted into albums or artists, but if you drag and drop the folder into your media player of choice it should automatically sort them. Alternatively you can download the media player "Winamp" from www.winamp.com/player this player (and most likely a few other that i have not encountered) allows you to copy music from your iPod to you hard drive and has the added bonus of ripping them to folders using the artist and album.
