Well, possible. She works for British fire service. Maybe she got her hands burnt? Yes, I have realised she hasn't done much lately. Busy with firefighting?

Dunno. I've wondered the same thing. Possibly she's a double agent for some sinister dictatorship, has been outed by her postman, and spirited away whilst her chums slept blithely aloof in the night. Its hard to say.
