It can take up to a whole year after being off the pill, so be patient! and talk to your doctor if you are worried

Totaly agree whith zarmalar, if you've been on the pill a long time the longer it normaly takes 4 your body to start producing fully furtile eggs again so i wouldn't worry for the next 6-7 months after that i'd go and see your doc.

Five months isn't long enough for you to be concerned, on average it can take up to a year. Once you stop taking the pill the hormones are usually out of your body in a couple days, the body then needs to start again on its own function. This means that it will start producing follicles again which then leads to ovulation, every womans body acts differently, some may take a couple of weeks to ovulate, others may take months. In general a womans body should be back in normal mode within less than two to three months after stopping the pill, if you ovulate normally it means that your body is back to its normal rhythm. If you were having problems with ovulation before you started the pill, then it is possible that the same issues will probably still be there so you will need to see a doctor...Good luck.
