It depended on the service. I'm not going to pay more just because there are no customers. If I hadn't showed up he wouldn't make any money in tips. He'd be lucky to have one.

Probably not, unless they did a phenomenal job...I already think I tip fairly...20% and up. I have been working in a bar for the last 20 months, and surprisingly, I find that people are more sympathetic tippers where it is busy, not slow.

Screw him. It's not my fault that he didn't have any customers that night. Why should I compensate for his misfortune? I am not Mother Teresa.
