Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas is pretty much like that. Good movie. Crazy though. Across The Universe kind of seems like that sometimes as well.

Half Baked. There's a great scene in "Knocked Up" that involved shrooms and cirque de soleil. Best part of the movie.
