We have 3 boxers(2 adults and 1 puppy),the adults killed our neighbors dog. Their dog came through our fence. So what happens now? Can our neighbor press charges or have our dogs put down even though their dog came onto our property?

No, they can't have your dogs put down, their dog was a trespasser. If anything, a really slick lawyers (the kind that chase ambulances) could possibly find a case if they could prove that you were negligent in repairing or maintaining the fence... if it is "your fence". Hopefully, it is a common fence or their fence. If they are threatening you, you could counter with harrassment. You may be responsible for the cost of their dog.

I think it is more dependant on the laws in your area and if Animal control sees your pets as a threat to others, but If this is the first and only case, I doubt much will happen, express as much sympathy as you can though, Imagine what it would be like if you lost one of your dogs.

my pit-bull "killed"(the owner put her dog down) a neighbors dog in apt complex when she got out of my apt, I was sued and animal control tried to quarantine her, however she wasn't around for them and I went to court, because I had pet deposit and neighbor didn't, her dog was illegally trespassing.I WON THE CASE AND SHE HAD TO LEARN ITS NOT RIGHT TO KILL ANIMALS! WHEN THEY CAN MAKE IT!!!!!!! .... My baby girl and I are still here, so things will be okay
