Can side airbags be installed now on a 2003 Town & Country LXi and if so for what cost?

It may not be possible if it was not an option for that year otherwise it is possible with parts from a similar vehicle from a junkyard or dealer. It would probably be expensive and involved.

Why? cars and people existed for decades without them. The general public has been brainwashed into thinking they need this crap. ABS, traction control, give me a break, all that stuff does is make your vehicle more expensive to repair when it breaks. They want to build in obsolescence to keep the perception going that we need a new car every 2 or 3 yrs, its all crap I tell ya.

It would be a huge waste of time and money. With major modifications like this you'd be better off just buying a minivan that had them.
