tofu usually takes on the flavor of what it's being added to. I have found the best way to "hide" tofu in foods is to add it to very flavorful things like mexican, chili, pastas with tomato sauces.

I love tofu with curry sauce or peanut sauce. You can usually buy pretty good premade sauces at the grocery store. Then you just cut it up and bake or grill it. You can use tofu in so many different ways. You can add it to noodles, eat it plain with a sauce, put it in soup, or even put it in cake: http://tofufortwo.net/2008/08/18/dream-chocolate-cake/

The simplest way is to put some sliced pickled ginger, soy sauce and Chinese hot chili sauce on top. It's also great stir fried in sesame oil.

Liquid smoke, vegetarian worcester sauce and grilling can make tofu taste amazingly good. The only thing that tofu and meat have in common is that they both taste bad raw or poorly cooked.

Try firm tofu fried in canola oil with a pinch of thyme. It tastes like eggs.
