No, the procedures and guidelines for adoption are great and strict here in Canada and should stay that way. We should not make it easier....if people really want a child, they will do their darnest to go through the procedures, interviews, etc. If people don't want to bother going through them, then they should just adopt a dog.

Well, one thing that new parents can do is refrain from coating the entire exterior of their house in "IT'S A GIRL!" signs and pink crepe paper. When you have a safe full of cash and jewelry, you don't put a sign on the front yard saying "Please, rob me! Here's the combination:..."
