The first time I ever heard of that store, someone told me that in Minnesota or somewhere in middle-America, it is pronounced Tar-zhay.

LOL! First time I heard that was from a friend of mine in college who worked there part-time. It made it sound so "fancy." We still say that sometimes. And my aunt started me saying Mar-SHALLS instead of Marshall's.

i disagree. walmart is fun to run around and ride carts in. scaring people and ignoring door sellers is great fun. :D
