    Depends on what you mean by "fancy." If by fancy you mean you think she's a beautiful woman whom you admire for mothering your beloved, there's nothing wrong with it at all. If by "fancy" you mean you wanna get freaky with her, then yes, that does prove to be an ethical problem. I suppose if you were going to rate it on a scale of one to ten (1 being lying, 10 being murder/adultery) it would probably be around 4 or 5. Thoughts really aren't that dangerous, most of the time.

    You dont' choose who you fancy so it's not "wrong". In the context of your relationship with your friend it could get a little awkward and you may loose that friend if you have a relationship with the mom. Weigh these things before taking any action. Besides - there's probably others around closer to your age you might consider.
