Yeah, true. Look at it this way - Human with a can of bug spray vs. daddy longlegs. You've seen it a million times, right? When was the last time you saw a person rushed off to hospital for some anti-venom? You know, I'm going to guess - never. But, you know, a 'pest' IS an inconvenience and a nuisance. Spiders aren't really dangerous unless they hide in your shoe, because they can't eat us anyway and they know that. They'll only attack when they feel threatened, and only to inject venom. They eat flies and flying things, not humans. They aren't interested in us and they keep the home fly-free. They're coo'.

ABSOLUTELY TRUE! However, the "real pest or danger" status becomes totally irrelevant once they are elevated to the exalted "mashed" status in my house...

True in the USA. only about 4 of the spiders in the usa are dangerous.

Someone who is allergic could justly answer that false. Also, someone who is arachnaphobic could justly answer that false based on their irrational fears. But in most cases, the answer is true.

All in the U.S except for the Black Widow and Brown Recluse but I could be wrong. I am not a fan of spiders expecially since my aunt was just bit by a Black Widow three weeks ago! Ughhh.........Shudder!

Well, I am going to have to say the opposite than everyone else here. I think spiders are more of a pest and or danger. I am horrified of spiders. And here where I live we do have spiders that can kill you. Oh just the thought of spiders gives me the chills, thanks for the nightmares tonight (seriously I will now have nightmares) LOL

depends on the spider Ò_Ó but u eat like 8 spiders at average during your lifetime (in sleep)

I think it depends mostly on the region of the world you are in!! Hell you live in the amazon you are BOUND to find something EVERYDAY that could kill you!!!
