Can a HOA increase my dues based on delinquent accounts of others? I live in a condo and my dues have gone up from $159 to $214 a month. One of the reasons sited was the number of delinquent accounts they have. How is this not their res

What constitutes a legal HOA? I moved into an new neighborhood who wants $100yr for entrance maint fees. The builder used to charge this but they went bankrupt a few years ago. It is written in the original owners contract but not mine. Legal options?

My Home Owner Association charges my area higher dues for gates but places the monies in the general funds and uses this money for common areas that do not have gates and then delay repairs of gates due to insufficient funds. What legal action

You're reading I was told that there is a Caliifornia Civil Code that says the HOA cannot charge a late fee before payment is 16 days late. We charge after 6 days. Is this legal?
