  • This sounds not right but try to work in some exercise throught your day. Just a walk will give you energy, like a second wind..Also, stay away from carbs, they will give you a short burst of energy and then you crash. Good luck, Cuttergirl:)
  • Needtoknow is correct. You might also want to try a multivitamin in case you don't have a proper diet in one way or another. If you're on any kind of meds though, make sure to ask doctor if it's okay to take a mutivitamin. Sometimes they interact negatively with certain meds.
  • u can try sleeping more at night... energy drinks work sometimes caffiene pills speed :P
  • i have to work at 6:30 am, so at 3pm, when i start heading home (30 min drive) i start getting sleepy. i keep peanuts in the car. good source of protein/energy, and they give me a pretty good boost. i only have to eat a small handful and i feel better.
  • Hi, I think the exercise is a good idea, but a short session like 20min, where you elevate the heart rate and sweat a little. This strengthens the heart and builds up endurance beyond normal activity, which is also good. I also highly recommend a good multivitamin, my wife takes the "GNC Women's Ultra Mega, Active". It is not enough to simply eat more, you have to have essential minerals and nutrients that help your body to process the food and turn it into useful energy and building blocks. Look up this book for more info: "Dietary Wellness" ISBN# 1-58333-147-6. It has some good ideas, but you do not have to do everthing a book tells you, it is merely a guide. Write me back if you need more info
  • Protein shakes and smoothies, getting some fresh air, sleeping when you can. Good luck, CG!!
  • Make sure the meals you do eat are healthy, not fast food or junk. Vitamins help also. I have "learned" a good breakfast is really important. No one could convince me back in the day when I had mass quantities of energy, I'd grab a piece of toast or a quick bowl of cereal a cup of coffee and I was on my way. It's like running your car on low grade gas with a tad bit of dirt in it. It will go for a while but will effect every part of the engine. The nice thing about human bodies compared to cars, we can repair ourselves with the right gas (food).
