  • I think is not a good diagnostic tool. "short" is a relative term - are speaking 10 inches or 10 miles? Bone structure is determined mostly by genetics - your 'build' is usually a product of the parents you choose. There are cases of abnormal growth, however in the first world nations where medical care is available a doctor would have seen you by now and would have noted any abnormalities. There is a very wide range of differences that we humans naturally come in. Stature (height) is one. Folk can 'normally' range from 4' to 7' in height without it being caused by disorder or diseases (I rounded those off the variances are slightly larger) or any abnormality. Proportions - shoulder width, leg length to body length, arm length to body length do have a wide range of normal variation. This all boils down to the parents your picked and your inherited genetics. If you feel that there is a problem you need to be seen by a doctor, bring it up with them and they can look and see or run tests or pursue the matter further if needed.
  • As pointed out in the first thread you linked to, endocrine system issues can lead to stunted growth. There are tests for those issues and it is still possible (this is a limited time offer because you are at the end of puberty) that you can through medications gain most if not all of your 'natural' height. . So once again I suggest you see a doctor, get a medical opinion. I seriously doubt that the conditions you set forth of lack of sleep and missed meals would result in stunted growth. A chemical imbalance definatly would and the causes of those range a bit.
  • Get it checked out.... But it sounds to me like you might have over analysed it and are worrying yourself sick. In your situation, I would go and have a scooby snack style sandwich, and then knock one out to help you pass out and get some refreshing rest. Enjoy it as much as possible - don't feel bad. Don't worry.
