  • I would prefer the carpet. No matter what the time of year or how warm it is, that hardwood floor will ALWAYS put a chill in many feet. BUT that's why there are area rugs, "runners" and bedroom slippers. Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! Sources: My wonderful family! • Summer, I love cool wood floors. Winter I want those slippers:-)
  • Wood floor.
  • Carpet, please. Wood floors are very nice to look at, but I love walking around barefoot in my own home, and carpet is much more enjoyable on the feet. The only places I don't want carpet are in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms. Hard wood floors in the dining room would be lovely :)
  • Hardwood floor, but in the winter throw rugs are awesome.
  • I myself prefer carpet, because in the winter tine hardwood is cold.
  • I have had both, and to tell you the truth.. I thought of investing in those water heater coils you put underneath the floor before you lay it, unfotunately that would mean I would have to rip them all up, which is not worth it... I like a warm surface on my feet when I wake up.
  • Carpet because i have been known to fall out of bed, and i would prefer a 'shag' pile everytime to take my fall. ;)
  • I like carpet better. For some reason it feels cleaner to me, haha. Also, hardwood floor is colder too! :P
