When you're eating warm apple pie with ice cream, do you put the little bit of pie on the back of your fork, then put some ice cream on the front? Or do you put the ice cream on the back of the fork first and then the pie on front? Do you do this at all?

Oh, I completely do this. I put ice cream in the back. If I put the pie first, the warm pie melts the ice cream too quickly. You're funny!

Hmmm.. i think that I cut into the apple pie and then engineer a little ice cream on top so that it melts. Or I cut in with a fork through the ice cream and the pie meaning they are neatly side by side. YUM! Great Q! Points for you INA!

try getting the pie really hot then putting ice cream on top so it melts on it

the thing is if you put ice cream on warm apple pie, it has a tendency to turn into a pool of liquid. i would only put ice cream on room temperature pie... ah.. who am i kidding, i am too lazy to scoop hard ice cream out for a little bit to put on a pie, i would use some canned whipped cream instead.
