  • You have free will to decide if you owe your existence to God. The Bible is God's Word.
  • 1. It is reasonable that God might exist. 2. Further, it is reasonable (based on the evidence) that this God who might exist might be personal and therefore have communicated with human beings. 3. The world’s religions are a reasonable place to look for evidence of such communication. 4. Among those representing the world religions, Jesus of Nazareth seems to hold the consensus as the person most likely to provide convincing evidence of the God who might exist. (Since Jesus is- in some way- incorporated into all major world religions. If all the world’s religious leaders were locked in a basement until they could elect only one person to represent the best of their beliefs, I believe Jesus would be the person selected.) 5. The resurrection of Jesus is a reasonable explanation for the existence of Christianity as a distinct belief system from Judaism. 6. An examination of the various alternatives and existing evidence convinces me that the Resurrection is, in fact, true. 7. If the Ressurection is true, then Jesus’ statements about himself, God, Truth, Sin, etc. (The Christian worldview) are true by deduction. 8. Based on this conclusion, I relate to the God who I now believe exists through Jesus. 9. My experience matches what Jesus describes, providing personal verification of the truth of Christianity. 10. Based on Pascal’s wager, I await eventual verification of this conclusion after death, but haven’t lost anything if I am wrong.
  • Not in my opinion - there's no evidence.
  • NO F'iNG WAY, You owe your existence to the earth that sat dormant of life for billions of years, eventually cultivating the right conditions to develop and grow life, which somehow after billions of years evolved dipsh*ts like you that thank some ghost in the sky; which by the way, isn't "GOD" it's our egotistical judgmental reflection, that we disguise as a creator, but its real identity is the stupidity of mankind, and humanities need to worship and be controlled or 'in control.' ~Dispose God_Awful@hotmail.com
  • Since there is absolutely no empirical evidence that supports the existence of God, it is more than likely that he/she/it does not exist. The things that people pass off as "proof" of God are nothing more than conjectures, suppositions, and blatant willful ignorance of already proven scientific facts. Do you owe your existence to him? Don't even waste your time with it. The Bible was written my people. It's stories are straight from the minds of people. The only thing you should believe about the Bible is that it is pure mythology.
  • In short: YES. Longer answer; there's a river of flowing clean water ( Bible) that never runs dry. In order for you to drink of this, you have to walk up to it and decide that you want to drink from it. This can be a humbling experience, and "self" frankly doesn't want to get out of its' own way, because it's comfortable sitting on its' pedastal. However, there's a spirit inside you that is famished, and can't wait for you to walk over to the river to start drinking from. Self has told this spirit to SHUT UP for so long, spirit just goes with whatever self wants to do. Would you give your spirit an opportunity to tell self to shut up for once, so that your spirit can get a drink? :)
  • many wish to believe that God does not exist because they have not seen him. for that matter the wind, electric currents, bacterias, viruses, germs, amoebas, etc., etc., must not exist because we cannot see them. especially the miniature world, if it not for the powerful microscopes in existence we would not be able to know they really exist. the greatest minds that have ever existed and even now, the true scientist is considered to be one that acknowledges the existence of a Creator. sir isaac newton is an example of such a mind. he also was an ardent student of the bible. therefore if we need to recognize the existence of God as the Creator, it is more than obvious that we need to give him credit for our existence. do not be afraid to investigate this. i promise you will not be disappointed. for more information go to www.watchtower.org
  • There is, and all belongs to Him. It is totally and utterly all about Him, and this is OK. "For ye are not your own, you were bought with a price" Self doesn't want to hear this, but it's the plain truth.
  • If you're gonna go around thanking anybody for your being here, better start with your parents cause that's who you owe your existence to. There ain't no god and he didn't inspire anything but a whole bunch of nuts to run around screaming bloody murder in his/her/its name
  • most likely no creator, omnipotent God, with a G.
  • No, no, and no.
  • No god, and u dont owe your existance to him anymore than u owe it to Bugs Bunny.
  • I am saying nothing against you personally, however I think this is something you have to decide for yourself; I have for myself. I believe I owe my existence to the God of this universe. I have a large number of personal reasons to believe as I do. To me God is very real and very much a part of my life as is Jesus His Son. Do I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God? Yes, as far as the original texts go. What we have today are copies of copies, there are no known original texts. Through the milenium there have been many changes to the Bible as we have it today. Some changes were made for political reasons by kings of old; others were made by scribes who thought they could make things better by adding or changing a word or its meaning. From reseaerch I have done, I have come to the conclusion the Cambridge edition of the King James is probably the closest to the original but it too has been changed many times. You must therefore make up your own mind as to where you come down on your question. We will all find out someday that is for sure...I would rather believe and know in my heart there is more to come than an empty exiatance here and after my death. What do you think will be the answer?
  • yes of course it's simple logic 52:35-36 ((Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?....Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain)) ------------------------- About your Bible.... yes, the bible revealed to Jesus was inspired by god....but it is not anymore.
