No we don't. We rent a two-bedroom, two-bath home in a retirement community. We're happy here. We'd love to be able to afford our own home, but at our age with our limited income and the vast increases in the cost of gas, food, healthcare, that seems unlikely! :)

My huband and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment in Mafikeng, South Africa. We do own a house, but it is situated in Rustenburg, South Africa. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and a balcony. It's worth about R900 000.00 (I'm not sure how much that is in dollars, I think the current rate is R1=$7)

The last house that I owned was a new, 2300 sq.ft. two story near Magic Mt.(SoCal). I sold if for $250,000 after living there 18 months.
