There are no consequences on the internet. Except possibled being banned/suspended from a website. In real life if you say certain things to certain people you can litterally be severly injured or killed.

Those are the people who never go out...they sit in little rooms and surf the internet all day. You couldn't meet them if you tried.

I have met both fact to face in the world, but I guess the anonymity of the internet allows people to stand on their soap boxes.

Yup. Some folks mistake the Internet for a free ticket to @$$hole-Land. It's easy to talk crap when you ain't got a face or any real consequences with which to deal. Of course it's not just in the realm of religion you find this. I've been using the net since the days when you needed to know Unix and use shell accounts. Ever hear of Usenet? People in public fora were jerks even back then. . .and just as mean-spirited and nasty for no other reason than that they could be. . .about EVERYTHING. If something is capable of being argued people will argue it.

No. It's radiation from their big, out of date monitors. Flat screen monitors don't leak so much, so as people up grade moderates will appear. Eventually only loonies who refuse to up grade will be posting their ulra-left/right manifestos....
