yeah, I got a shot too earlier this year, and I did indeed also get a big swelling and in the middle of the swelling it was kinda hard and sore. Don't worry, it'll be gone in a couple of days

I also got a tetnus shot on Monday of this week. The nurse instructed me to put ice on the injection site for 20 mins to reduce the painful side effects that would occur the next day. (Which I did). On Tues my arm was sore and developing a lump. The lump is about 2" in diameter and slightly red. It is a bit itchy and feels somewhat like a very large mesquito bite. It is now Friday and shows no signs of going away any time soon.
