It depends on who you talk to and what you call proof. Many beleive that we have been visited and cite several examples of uncommon events that defy explanation. Others are more skeptical and won't beleive until they can walk up and shake the hand of an alien. The governments deny any evidence exists.

Probably not. Any such proof would be front-page news for quite a while. The notion that there are widespread government conspiracies to suppress the evidence is rather tinfoil-hat weird. On a related human-interest note: My uncle participated in the original Roswell nonsense (Dr. Charles B. Moore): he was a scientist doing high-altitude experiments in New Mexico with weather balloons, and has been interviewed and responded extensively about the facts in the case for many years. (I trust him, he's a solid and unpretentious person.) If my uncle Charlie says it wern't no dang aliens, that's good enough for me. He also held the world balloon altitude record for many years, but I think its been broken now.

think like this the universe is like relly biiiig whit alot of stars so only in the winter street or what ours is called there shud be like 100-200 planets that are availble for life and maybe 2 of them got life so our part of the universe is very small think outside the box!! this is real fact did see it on discovery channel maybe it was 100 that did have life and life on other planet = alien and ufo aint a round thing it is unidentifed objekt in the sky i think it was so a sweden airplane over usa might be a ufo !!!

Not yet. however we can make some sort of judgement on the probability of alien life. The reason we think it is so likely is due to the number of stars (and ergo planets) in the universe. Either we are unique amongst the billions upon billions of planets out there in having life (doesn't seem rational really given the number of chances) or we are not alone. Drake's famous equation deals with this idea. But actual evidence, none yet.

Not physically. But I think the size of the universe and the incredible distances alone are proof enough that we can't be the only ones here.

As Stated there is no definitive evidence that aliens exist. There are millions of galaxies each containing millions of stars so there is probably life out there. Although only planets in a narrow band called the habitable zone (were liquid water exists) around sun like stars can support life. Even though there is prob intelligent life out there it prob would'nt have made it here yet as the nearest star to us is over 4 light years away! the nearest earth like planet (planet 5 times bigger than earth in the habitable zone) recently discovered was over 20 light years away.

There is 200 billion suns in our galaxy(Milkyway) and 200 billion Galaxys in the universe.just think how many planets there are.Look at all the different kinds of life here on Earth.And we know that our planet is a very small one.If we are the only (1) planet with life in our Galaxy,then there is still billions of planets like ours.

If there was definitive proof available, you wouldn't need to ask this question, you would be aware of it by now. If you want to amuse yourself, however, with a little exercise in correlations, go to your local library. Then do a little research and look at the technological progress of the human race all the way up until the arrival of the 20th century. If you compare and contrast, you'll notice a very large leap in technological sophistication. The inherited progressive benefit of a series of wars? Perhaps. A result of the introduction to superconductors and fiber optic technology by advanced civilizations? Who knows.

I think that there is plenty of proof out there look at the old ufo paintings that alone is proof enough for me. check them out and tell me that they werent visiting earth. http://alien-ufo-research.com/aliens_in_ancient_history On top of that there are tons of differnt alien pics and ufo sightings that happen every day. The truth is from the people.

Not substantially, but I believe they exist because we have found out there was once water on Mars....rivers, lakes, oceans etc. It just all died out like a desert. Water is a source of life, why would God place water upon a plant with no use?

There maybe proof locked inside some governement interdepartmental office filing cabinet somewhere deep underground in the middle of the desert, but you won't ever get to see it.

i read end of last year on nasa website that there in the making of discovering possible ways of travelling at speeds of light years. it was something to do with the fact of using laser technology. some how by using some form of laser it would make this all possible. i certainly wouldnt want to be the first person to try it out when they concluded the whole thing. but once this is possible if ever then exploring would be alot easier. plus theyre saying by 2010 they will have a telescope that will be able to see around the whole of our soloar system enabling us to find out if theres any in our system. still willnt answer whats beyond ours.

There is no real proof that aliens do exist. But with the incredible size of the universe and the millions of galaxies, stars and planets i wouldnt doubt there is life out there. But however i don't think they would look anything that we expect them too

None whatsoever. Just legends, mythology, superstition, and a subculture of phony evidence and conspiracy theories. There is every reason to believe that life -- including advanced technologies -- exists elsewhere in the universe. Reputable astrophysicists accept this likelihood. But there is no evidence that Earth has every been visited by them.

As far as I know, the fact that there is no proof that they dont exist is proof enough that they may exist... But, they do exist, and one day, they will let us understand, maybe...

No concrete evidence. No proof. If they do exsist, and chances are they do, (the universe is too big a place for life not to exsist elsewhere) they havent' visited up yet, or they have, but not in a conventional way. Maybe we're not looking in the right way. They may be here in the form of something we cannot technologically comprehend yet. OR YES.....ME!
