A few times. I'm not so comfortable with it, to me it's like sleeping in some stranger's house (which basically it is yo...).
sadly no :( wish though.
Yeah - I've stayed in some really nice B&B's where the owners have been very friendly and helpful and you haven't felt like you're intruding in their homes. Or they on your life.
I've also been unfortunate enough to stay in some seriously bad ones - where the owners are control freaks. An example being up by the castle Eileen Dolan in Scotland where they even drew diagrams to show you how you should park on their driveway . . .
I've also ended up staying in some highly memorable places - like what also turned out to be a old people's home in Dublin run by what can only be described as Norman Bates and his mother. No, really.
Staying in B&B's if nothing else is certainly an eye-opening experience!
Yes many times! :)
Yep. Twice. Both of those times were in Edinburgh, actually. Anyway.
It's alright for a couple of nights. I don't feel comfortable, though. It's like being in a stranger's house. And I don't eat breakfast anyway, so it's just...bed.
No.
I have several times including almost a week at a nice one near Darwin Australia in May.
I find them to be genuine and truly enjoyable for a different, laid-back approach to travel.
I honeymooned in a B&B on the beach here, it was L-O-V-E-L-Y!!!
Nope, I'd like to though, especially that breakfast part
Yes, I have three times and I enjoyed it each time. I would recommend it.
No, I never have, I don't think I would feel comfortable.
We used to stay at one in Rohoboth Beach DEL. They had a nice place, nice rooms and the breakfasts where homemade. I really found after a few years that the woman got on my nerves..She's come out and offer breakfast food to everyone and say to me;"you don't want any do you"? I weighed 100 lbs. I'd say yes, please I do, she's get upset and have to get more.
They sold it and who knows where Cheapo Marx went.
Yes I have in the past and they are very useful when you are travelling en route.
Yes often.
No and it's not something I ever plan to do. Isn't my cup of tea.
No, but sometime or another I plan to.
Yep, once.
No, I have not. The thought is a little creepy to me. I would not feel comfortable in a strangers house.
no maybe one day
Duplicate! marked as so!
No.There's a few in the town where I live.I've never been tempted because the only face I want to see the first thing in the morning is my husband's.
Nope. I'd like to though
yes, it was really nice
