Personal, close and possibly intimate.

An intimate relationship to me, means one in which you are having sex.

Physical contact. Not necessarily sex in the first place, but holding hands, kissing, cuddling, and wanting to be alone with them. :)

Intimate to me is a connection of both body and mind. It cannot be just one or the other.

Its that feeling of being with somebody and nobody else knows your secrets you share, and knowing someone intimately and them knowing you intimately, and that you both accept and love each other regardless of anyone or anything
