  • Only if God hates you.
  • 1) You cannot edit your questions, except in a very short time after you asked them. 2) Duplicates are usually found by people who have been here some time and ask themselves: "Oh, what a simple question! I am sure this question has been already asked on Answerbag". So they look for duplicates and if they find one, they flag the new question as duplicate. In some cases, one user could also notice that someone is asking a question that they have asked themselves before. 3) If the wording of your question is exactly the same, the question will not be accepted from the system. If you make some modifications, it will be accepted from the system, but some people could find out that this question is just a duplicate of the original question and flag it. If you modify the question enough, it will no more be possible to consider the question a duplicate. So normally, even if it were flagged, the flag would be rejected. But you must have something really different in your new question. The same concept won't go.
