  • Yes, though I don't do it as often as I used to. I'm an easily stressed person, and I find that crying really helps when the stress is building to the point that it bothers me on a day-to-day basis. Same with when I start getting depressed or frustrated often. When this starts to happen, I find myself listening to music that makes me sad/angry enough to cry, watching sad movies/videos, etc. When I was younger it was mainly home videos from when we were kids that I watched to make myself cry; now it's mostly music that touches me deeply. Anyway, I think it's pretty healthy... it's a non-violent, safe way to release stress and tension.
  • No but when I am sad but can't cry, I like to watch movies or listen to sad songs just so I can cry. It helps me feel better.
  • I don't recall ever wanting to cry unless I was frustrated to the extreme, sad, horrifically mad or some other extreme emotion, but yes.....sometimes I have to see something sad to bring it up and out.
