Can i pierce my lip using an ear piercing kit?

Don't try that. The place you bought the ear piercing kit its probably not sanitary, some can be fakes on the Internet. Piercing your lip can be mildly dangerous, you can get an infection if the needle is not properly sterilized. An infection can lead to the worst..meaning landing yourself in the hospital. Go to a professional piercer.

At the risk of sounding anti-politcally correct (which I am, incidentally), every time I ever got my ears pierced I did it myslef with a sewing needle. Alcohol and the needle are all you really need, besides the stud, or whatever. Of course, I also remove my own stitches, so whatever you're most comfortable with.

No. You usually have to pierce lips at an angle since it's not in it's resting state while you're piercing it. A piercing guns kit, if that's what it is, will probably give you results that look crooked, not to mention that's just bad piercing technique.
