I have a lot of dreams that I could sperate into all of those categories, but I am just going to go into my strange ones because those are the ones I have most often, and they are pretty odd... If by explain, you mean tell what happened in them I can do that, but I don't know the significance so if that's what you mean, then I am not sure. I had a dream once in which I was the captain of a manzilla olive (the green kinds with the little orange pimientos in the middle)delivery ship. The shipmates were either pirates or 1400's explorer-looking people. There was a large storm and we had to live in the steerage until it passed and ate the olives for food. After the storm, we went to a tropical island that I somehow dreamed up was Spain. Because we had eaten all of the olives, Che Guevara (I dreamed he was the president of Spain?) fired me for eating them... I woke up shortly after this. What a stupid dream. haha. Also, I had one in which I was in the most famous scene of Scarface, and he was shooting me with an AK-47 in my butt. This would be because I left my phone on vibrate that night.... it just affected my dream I guess. Then, there was a dream where I went to a one-room school house on the side of a mountain. We had a "Real-world-roadrules" day (the mtv shows) and had to do tasks similar to those seen on the shows like Inferno, Freshmeat, etc... So I remember having to sit in a bathtub full of cheerios. I don't know what this had to do with anything, because we actually raced our bathtubs down a ramp. I ended up losing and I started to cry because the winner would have gotten to meet UnderOath (my favorite band), somehow I met them anyway in that dream. That was pretty cool for a stupid dream. And ever have those out-of-body dreams where you can see yourself? I have a lot like those, and one involved watching me age up until I died and I saw my own funeral. That was a scary strange dream. Sorry my answer was so long... =/

There had been some criminals on the loose in my neighborhood, so my parents decided to buy a guard dog, only instead of a dog, it was a baby elephant. At first, they kept it in the front yard and it watched over us and kept us safe. When we no longer needed it, my parents moved it to the backyard and eventually forgot about it. The elephant lurked for years in the woods behind our house, until one day when we were sitting on our porch, the criminals returned suddenly and started to threaten us. The elephant charged out of the woods and saved us but died in the process. That was my most meaningful dream ever. That description really doesn't do it justice.

Last night i had a dream that i was in Walmart shopping and when i walked passed the butter They started singing! They were singing something like jingle bells. And then they fallowed me home, tried to kill me with butter knifes and then i woke up. That was the wierdest dream i ever had and also the most disturbing.

just the other night i had a really weird dream that my mum came home and i just hugged her and cried and said i thought you had gone. i can remember feeling like i never wanted to leave her side and i can remember her smile in the dream just like she always was. when i woke up i did cry because my mum as passed away but the dream was more real then ever.

We Were Driving and than one of thos power ranger robots started to chase us because we had a stolen Ruby......thats wierd right?

i was walking and my cup of water overflowed, then green police cars flew past me and a hole appeared in the sky, a well as a jellyfish and four different lightbulbs, then it rained quarters. yup.

I was in Iraq with Steve McQueen, of all people, trying to find our military people to help us. We were running and running from something and it was a bad dream.

I had one that I was in France with my best friend's family, except she wasn't there, and that we went to climb the Eiffel Tower and I only made it like three steps, but i amnot afraid of heights, and then we were floating down a river and Audry Hepbourn was there andthen we were in greece, rowed a boat to New York, jumped off abridge and rode a train.

I dreamt I was santa clause once...it was rather odd because the santa wasn't fat and could run...lol

The wierdest dream I ever had was.. I was on the loo, and a baby popped out, it looked just like my husband. I was screaming, and crying, and wanted to keep it, but we couldn't so we flushed it down the loo!

Weird or oh yea but the weird part of my dream is the way I felt afterwards, Infact I just woke up from the dream about an hour and a half ago but I can't get back to sleep and I just felt I had to write it down somewhere where I could get some feedback so here it is..... I was at a church camp having a good time playing around with some people I know(with a church I haven't gone to in like a year)On the speaker system it said breakfast and dinner were taken care of but we could go wherever for lunch I wanted a pasta salad so I started walking by myself down this road in the mountains with little shops and stuff I get my pasta salad eat it and keep walking then I see this group of people I don't know hanging out on the porch of this old church that was huge so I go over and talk to a couple of the guys and agree to meet up later and bring some of my friends, But then a huge Hurricane/Tornado starts out of nowhere and I'm trying to hold onto this umbrella that a little girl is holding out for me so I don't blow away I'm struggling and the people on the porch look fine like nothing is happening around them, so the storm ends and I see another storm coming my way but most of the people left and went home there is just me an old elderly lady and a little boy(with a scar just like my boyfriends btw) so I hurry them into the church by breaking the lock on the door, we sit there for a little while and the little boy and old lady are scared I go back outside when the wind dies down and the little boy follows me then to the side of the house an eruption starts the ground turns brown then black and a volcano starts overflowing with lava so I run inside and tell the elderly lady we have to run we have to get out of here but she says she is fine and not leaving, so I looked at the little boy and knew we had to run to get to higer ground because the lava would settle into the "valley" area that we were in, so we ran, up ahead was a large town built into the side of a mountain so we ran up a really long staircase and all I could do was keep going forward not look back because I knew the lava was coming. SO we get to the top area and go into a huge hotel/condo building go all the way to the top and nobody is there except a gay guy who is reading and doesn't care what is going on outside, so I'm scared and I start to cry and the little boy sits beside me and tries to comfort me but when it doesn't work he starts to cry too which makes me stop and comfort him and hold him on my lap. He is scared because he lost his family and can't find them and I'm scared because I somehow know this disaster is only one of many going on around the world and it's the beginning of something horrible (don't ask me how I knew that but in my very real and vivid dreams I not only feel and see I think while I'm in the dream and sometimes with the more realistic dreams I don't know if it's real or not I'll even ask myself if i'm dreaming and wake up) The little boy and I walked around and tried to get supplies together in the dark condo apartments around the building and we kept talking I wanted to get to the the people I was talking to earlier because I knew they were safe but I din't know how to find them because when I looked outside a flood had settled around the buildings and it was deep like the ground itself dropped except where structures were standing(I can't swim very well), I wanted to find the people I talked with earlier but I was afraid to go out because the destruction around the building was terrible and I'd have to swim under water through buildings but the little boy looked up at me and said it's okay the ground is cool now we can go find them I'll protect you, then I awoke.....Another odd part of the dream was I felt like I wanted to get out of something but I couldn't but I knew if I could get out of it everything would be ok for a while (was that me wanting to leave the dream maybe???) Anyways that was the weird dream... sound crazy I know,like Volcano meets water world but why the religous twist to it? (I believe but I don't attend church right now) I get the feeling I'm supposed to take something from this dream but am unsure what that is.... Any ideas???? Anyone ever had a dream similar ???

When i was a little girl i used to dream that the toilet was chasing me,i was terrified lol!!!!!!Crazy or what!

when i was about 5 years old i had a dream that i was in an amusement park ride that resembled a space ship, we were all in a circle backed up against a wall and there was a massive hole in the middle, the hole was filled with magma and it was supposed to signify the fire of the bottom of the spaceship when it flew in space, and we all were strapped to the sides and the 'spaceship' tossed and turned about with the walls and ceiling looking like space.. i thought about it for years, it was insanely vivid and when i was about 11 i brought it up to my mom going 'remember that ride we went on? where was that it was so cool' and she looked at me like i was crazy, so i thought 'ok, maybe i thought my mom went on that ride but she didnt'. so i brought it up to my dad and he was like 'we never went on a ride like that'.. even after that i still swore it was real, then recently i talked to my dad about it again and we spoke about how i was really into the solar system and stuff like that when i was really young and we came to the conclusion that i DID dream it, that no amusement park ride like that exists.

That I was pregnant with my boyfriend's brother's baby. Everyone in the family including him and his brother was happy about it and acting like it was normal except me. I was angry with myself, but in the dream I guess I was married to his brother...I don't know it was odd.

I dreamed that I was smoking and I couldn't get enough nicotine in my system so I would inhale deeper and deeper. I just couldn't get enough; so, I started putting more and more cigarettes into my mouth. I just kept putting them in until my mouth couldn't hold even one more. I couldn't get enough. I began to put them up my nose until it was full then I began to stick them in my ears. It was so bazaar.

I dreamt that a dalmatian had Bill Clinton's head and was drinking blueberry daiquiris in the kitchen with my mom. Of course, I was on medication at the time...

i was at safeway, and then this guy at the counter said''you can have all the free food you want'' so i grabbed food came to the counter, and when i looked in the cart, the food was gone, and i went back in time. the same guy said '' you can have all the free food''did it again and the same thing happened. this time, when i went down oneof the isles, i saw somone stuck in the same thing as me . he said to use tlekinesis.....so.. i started to use telekenis, to bring all the food out a certain way... but then a video camera caught me using telekinesis,and put it on world wide tv. suddenly every celebrity wanted psychic powers too. so they came after me,i culd only remember some of them, bob marley, britney spears, eminem. they said they wanted the psychic powers to increase the sales of their songs and movies, or some dumb stuff. i said no. but then they all mutated into some kind of freaky thing from resident evil, and then, my view turned into a first person view game,all i could see was the gun, i had to shoot them with a shotgun and stuff, and save ammo and , i had to make sure they were headshots and stuff, britney spears wouldn't die, and she killed me and it said game over ,.... and i woke up!

I dreamt I was on a website, and it seemed full of questions that needed answers, and the more answers I gave, the more questions seem to appear.. what a nighmare

Have you ever had the dream where you 'wake up' but you're actually still asleep and dreaming? I once had a dream where the 'wake up' sequence nested itself about 7 times. In one of the 'wake up' cycles, I dreamt that I walked out of my room and met my friend, who said "Yes. You're really awake now". But I wasn't. I still had about 3 more 'wake up' cycles to go. When I finally did wake up (...or did I?...:-D...), I felt *really* strange for the rest of the day.

ok ok ok one time i had this dream where i jumped off a plane and deployed my parachute but it turned into poop and then they guy in the plane was like, "YOU FORGOT YOUR POOP!" and since parachute meant poop, i assumed it meant a parachute. he jumped off, gave me the "poop", i deployed the "poop", i slowly flew down, then the guy who jumped forgot his "poop" and then he died, i got blamed for it, i went to jail, and batman was there. i asked him why, and he said "I molested a child." I farrte and then he died. then i remembered i was in MY dream, I could control it,I HAD THE POWER! I had a dream I was walking along a beach in the fog and heard someone screaming, so I jumped in the water and first thing I thought was that it was like hitting a brick wall and it was freezing. I swam to the voice and saw the guy take his last breath. The guy was me. then I realized I couldn't swim anymore my body was too cold and was shutting down, I heard someone on the shore so I screamed to them for help, I soon saw them coming towards me as I was going under. It was me. Save myself from myself.

I've had a recurring dream since childhood that bugs me. I'm on the roof of my childhood home, looking at the moon. I take a telescope out and look at the moon, and see an astronaut floating off of the moon toward me. I put down the telescope and can still see him coming toward me. I have no idea what the heck this dream means (if anything), but for some reason it upsets me.

I beat three of my workmates up , Ian , Bill and john . I then chucked them in the back of a Post Office Van , drove down to Brighton beach , sat them up with coconuts on their heads and threw stones at them . I then went to see The Arctic Monkeys and woke up halfway through their set !!

The weirdest one, that I still remember, to this day, was that I was in an old west gunfight, against the fastest gun and meanest gunfighter alive. I was a little scared, but there was no way I would back down. When we faced each other to draw, I pulled my six-shooter, and it was a BANANA! This is no lie! But, I woke up before I was shot, thank goodness. Weird dreams!

Well i was in my elementry school all alone at night i dont know for what but somebody guy shoots me on my chest like 8 feet away from me but i didn't die i just fell down and all of sudden a black hole opens on the ground and fell in there.

i am running and trying to get away from japanese agents and i have to crawl through tiny secret passages to reach top of a skyscraper, shimmy up the side of the building in horrendous winds to be caught at the top and dragged in to a helicopter with them all wearing shades! just one of many for me.

The same one I have had on and off for years. It varies a bit, but usually I bite into a piece of food or make some grinding action with my teeth and they start to crumble. I have a lot of weird dreams but the one I remember was last night..I was in the parking lot of a pizza place trying to figure out how to get 18 of my husbands relatives into the back seat of a red Mustang.

The best dream I've ever had as far as life was, during a time when I couldn't get over a guy I was interested in so I prayed for help. That night I had a dream where the guy I was interested in wrote me a letter and in big red letters it said "LET GO" and in cursive underneath that it said "Although I am single, I am not available." Boy did it help me move on past him. And no it didn't come true lol.

It was very personal - and it did come through. It's a bit unsettling to think about it because it disturbs my sense of values regarding 'Free Will' and the nature of Time/Space etc.

Last night I had the strangest dream the world would ever know! I dreamed the world had all agreed to put an end to war!

I had a premonition dream. In my dream a friend called me on the phone.In the conversation I told him that I dreamed that he would call and would have a talk on the phone .Then I was awoken by the phone and the exact conversation that I had with my friend happened in the phone conversation with him in real life.

I was being chased by an invisible satan all throughout my parents house. The doorbell rang and I ran to the door for help. Jesus was there and I yelled, "what the hell took you so long?" and then I woke up.

Ok, it was my entire subconsious I swear - I was 10 at the time. I dreamt that miniture blue monkeys crept under the crack under the door and went for a Paul-Bunian-sized pair of work pants and pulled a collosal banana out of the back pocket. How bizzar. Must have been to many "WOnder Twin" episodes.

I had a dream I floated down through 2 floors of the building to the street and felt invisible my eyes were my only awareness moving around like gravity was messed up pulling me strongly down then floating up out of control could it have been a out of body experiance that I had it felt so real too

I dreamed that I was on a football team (and I don't play football) and my team, with the exception of me, was held hostage in our own endzone, and the only way that we could win the game was if I could take the ball the full length of the field (100 yards). If that wasn't weird enough, my old boss was on a riding lawn mower and I was afraid that I would be run over before I got to the other endzone and then a riding lawn mower appeared for me as well. Then the chase began! I was making good distance between he and I, and another riding lawn mower appeared in front of me, and I swerved around it and used it to slow him down, and I eventually made it and did a quick u-turn towards the other endzone. About half-way there, I got something stuck in my eyes, and the lawn mower controls went on the fritz, and I managed to get within a couple of yards of our endzone, and I jumped off of my mower to hoof it the rest of the way, and I had to do it blind, for I still had dirt in my eyes, and I didn't have time to fix them, and then a fence appeared, and I hit it head on and I was tackled, being only a couple of inches away from the endzone. I am pretty sure that it means that I fear that I will put all this effort into something and then have it end in shameful failure, and that I will let many down who were depending on my sucess.

I had a nightmare once (I can't really remember what it was about), but I also kept dreaming that I was waking up. So I woke up twice in my dream before I really 'woke up'. It was quite creepy and disturbing...I have NO idea what it could mean.

I had a dream that I was crossing over a river, walking on a steel beam, while holding on to a wire above me. I would cross the river, and it would lead me to a cave. My family members were in the cave. I kept talking and yelling, but they couldn't hear me. No matter what. I'd get back on the beam and wire, and go. The song "No Quarter" is playing faintly in my ears. It starts raining, and I slip and fall off the beam, and suddenly wake up in a cold sweat. I did a lot of acid when I was a teenager....

Well it wasn't wiered but quite facinating. I was the ruler of the world!! and then got overthrown by Extraterrestrials for some reason. Don't even know where they came from or why because i was a good leader, nay i was a GREAT leader or that's the way i remember it.

My dream was strange and funny. I was in my school and i was walking around with my friends, and we went up to the cafeteria. Suddenly a giant scarlet red crayon was chasing me and he looked pissed! Dracula came into the room and stole my mothers purse. Then he tried to smother me as I was laying on my back. I woke up on my stomach with my face shoved down in the pillow gasping for air. This was at 8 years old by the way.

I've had so many! I think I was in my teens or early twenties when I had this one. In my dream, these things that looked like fish were floating around in the air and they had no fins. If I remember correctly they were white and yet all most transparent and they kept nipping at my legs and I kept trying to move away from them. Sometimes they would just bump into me. I can still remember some other strange dreams. But that was the strangest and I haven't ever been able to figure the above dream out. What it meant.

When I can remember them upon waking up I write as much of it down as I can. They're all weird. I guess one that was pretty off the wall was when I was a bear and me and some other bears and humans were diving off a bridge into a river (for fun) there's a lot more but the climax was when me and the other bears and humans started saving these mexican kids who were sailing in a flood and getting trapped in flood debris (houses, cars etc)

I had a premonition dream,where in my dream I woke up to a phone call.It was a friend and I was telling him that I was dreaming he was going to call me.The weird thing is that the phone did wake me.It was my friend and the exact lines were said in the phone call.

I once dreamt that I stood in the middle of a forest, and each tree was burning from the inside out.

Most of them qualify as strange. I've had several base on old sci fi shows like ST:TNG AND ST: Deep Space 9. Deep Space Nine Dream: 9-30-06 Jake and Nog discover a miniature civilization on a planet in the Gamma Quadrant. A whole city was in and around a damp spot under Jake's shoe. Somehow, stepping on them did no harm. Nog found some valuable eggs, of a talking bat, while watching this pond that had, among other things, a crab/lobster creature sort of like an underwater scorpion without a sting, and a jellyfish-like creature that always stayed near one chosen scorpion-thing. They take an egg, and put it and all of their equipment back in the shuttle, so that their fathers would find the egg and a mechanical egg they created to explain their idea to their dads. Cisko and Rom do indeed find the shuttle, and decide to take it back to DS-9, then to get the kids back. In trouble. Then they notice the equipment. Digging tool, cylindrical, about 7 ft long. Two of them. Twin Cameras in cases, one set attached to an additional case with three internal pockets. One of which had a clear, partly broken egg with what looks like a cat's brain within. They pick it up, and the clear is coated with silver, making inspection impossible. But the other camera case has a matching 3-part case as well. This one has a black, mechanical egg in it, the same as the real one, only with a grille and a pushbutton. Cisko pushes the button and the egg begins to explain the boy's idea. The bat is a living translator between the scorpions and the jellyfish, but could be natural universal translators if bred for the purpose. The boys are in the miniature city, trying to make a deal for the eggs. Cisko must find the boys, Rom must finish the deal, and Cisco find a reason why none of this can really take place.

sure! i always dream about some neibhorhood in florida and i'm riding my bike through it, and this bike can fly and as i'm flying after I get to a certain height, I get scared and come back down, but as soon as I do, I fly right back up to that certain point. I live in Ohio and I dunno why my dream is about florida, but it is! I've also dreamt that someone was giving me a tour of a house i lived in as a child. and at one bedroom door i asked why it's closed and locked and the girl said" do not open it" and she explain why(i forgot why when i woke up) but i remember i completely understood in my dream why i couldn't open the door and i was so scared!...but I opened it anyway and it was a little girl screaming. i quickly shut the door and tried to run and as i was running through the hallway, it just kept getting longer and longer. and there you go for my weird dreams!=)

I had two years in Vietnam and sometimes have very vivid dreams about things that happened there. One dream that keeps recurring: my sons ( who weren't even dreamed of when I was in Vietnam! ) and I are fighting in some sort of battle. The older son is hit and falls. I become enraged, grab a machinegun, and charge into the enemy ( who are never seen in the dream ), killing so many of them that the blood is waist deep around me. I always wake up at that point.

I had one a few days ago where I was waiting on some tables, and one left me a $12 tip, but $8 of it was in coupons for the Bookstore at my college.

I had this almost 35 years ago and I still remember it. I'm running down a tree-lined sidewalk in my old neighborhood with an large aluminum bowl, the kind used in commercial kitchens, inverted on top of my head. I'm running because I'm being chased by a clown on stilts who is chasing me because he wants to pee in the bowl on my head. That's the dream, all of it....I'm running as fast as I can, keeping the inverted bowl on my head, my legs moving very fast to stay ahead of the clown on stilts with his gigantic steps behind me. No one has ever been able to explain this one to me.

Dont mind if I answer my own question :) ..... I had a huge night on the booze, and dreamt i was at burger King helping myself to the coke machine mmmmmm I woke up very thirsty with the worst drys

My dreamsare really wierd like when i dreamt that i saw mall named the dave mall and it was the size of texas and california combined and the dream nearly took forever to end.

My latest one,last night,all I can remember is people sledding and crashing into each other,then I was trying to hold onto something and this guy drags me over to a crate full of mongooses and tries to throw me in.He doesn't get me in there and I manage to get his ear close enough to where a mongoose bites it! Don't ask me what this means-I have no clue!

About two weeks ago I had a dream about a cage in the middle of the living room floor.There was a Bobcat or a Mountain Lion in there,can't remember which.Someone left the cage door open a crack and I threw a spatula at the cage and ran.I could hear someone wrestling around with the animal trying to get it back in the cage-it was either my boyfriend or my stepdad.

i just recently had a dream where it was like at a mall and there was a shooting, but it was a movie and i was an actor in the movie and i saw myself shooting ppl but then it wasnt really me and we werent really shooting ppl it was all fake and then i fall off the 2nd floor, well kind of fell/jumped and right when i hit the ground i woke up... lol no clue what thats supposed to mean but... it was weird lol

I dreammed that I woke up early and that there was an animal with fangs attacking one of the stray cats I used to feed. In my dream I opened the door and I saw the wild animal like in a mist and his fangs shone and his growls were scary. The animal jumped and tried to get me and I tried to close the door but I had problems to close and lock it. When I finally closed the door I was exausted and terrified. I was also scared for the cats in my backyard. When I woke up I was totally disoriented and wondering how the heck I got to be in bed if I was up early. The disorientation lasted for almost an hour and up to this date I do not know if that was a dream or if really happened. What is really scary is the not knowing if I was sleep walking or really dreaming.
