    There are really just two kinds of shampoos, mild and strong. Head and Shoulders is a strong shampoo; shampoos with similar ingredients are strong. Those without are mild. Other ingredients do other things, which you may want but shouldn't pay for unless you really do want conditioner, herbal odors, etc.
